The ORCi promoters met on Wednesday 10th March via Zoom to further discuss the recent Government announcements regarding the gradual easing of Covid-19 restrictions, and to continue their preparation for a return to racing with the delayed start of the new short oval-circuit season.

The ORCi recognises that individual tracks' local authorities may be forthcoming with different interpretations of the Government's easing plan, influenced by assorted factors, not least of which may be the classification of each individual venue. Accordingly, some tracks are likely to get a 'green light' to proceed sooner than others, which will result in a staggered start to the 2021 racing season. In response to discussion amongst ORCi member promotions, some individual Formulas and Promotions are now progressing with their provisional plans, with a view to releasing further information as soon as they are able to do so.
