ORCi PRESS RELEASE – 2011 ORCi MiniStox Rules

Following the ORCi Council Meeting on Tuesday 25^th January 2011, Issue 2 of the 2011 ORCi Mini Stox Specifications are now published (here) and these rules come into force with immediate effect.

There is just one amendment, this being under Rule 3 - Engine, Gearbox & Differential

• Three angle valve seats are allowed to the following specifications but there must be no machining or fettling past the valve seat on the valve or the head.

ALL other rules remain as from Issue 1 and there will be no further consideration during 2011 to change them.

Please note, to ensure that there is no confusion, ALL of these rules are now in effect and there is no relaxation period whatsoever for any rule, ALL cars must comply with ALL rules.

The committee also decided that for 2012, rules will be published by September 2011, giving adequate time for changes to be implemented.  The three angle valve seat rule will be reviewed at this point.
