History of the ORCi

 

The ORCi is one of the largest established governing bodies for over 25 years for short oval motor racing, covering over 30 venues, 700 race events and somewhere in the region of 10,000 competitors across England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, working in co-operative association with organisers within the Republic of Ireland and Mainland Europe.

The ORCi consists of all major Short Oval Racing promotions in the UK and in liaison, with event organisers across Europe, with its main responsibilities being; providing Operational Guidance for Health and Safety, car construction specifications, driver conduct and Officials and duties.
